A Valmet anunciou a assinatura de seu primeiro contrato com a Papertech Industries Co., Ltd., para fornecer um pacote completo de automação à fábrica da empresa em Bangladesh. O objetivo é elevar a qualidade da produção e a eficiência operacional. A entrega está prevista para o quarto trimestre de 2025.
O fornecimento contempla o primeiro sistema de controle distribuído (DCS) de Bangladesh com a interface moderna Valmet DNAe, que oferece fluxos de trabalho intuitivos para simplificar a operação e ampliar a área de processos sob gestão. Também fazem parte do pacote o Valmet IQ Quality Control System, controles de máquina e de direção transversal, além do Valmet Retention Measurement (RM5).
Segundo Amer Yusuf, diretor administrativo da Papertech Industries, a decisão pela Valmet foi motivada pela combinação de tecnologia de ponta e know-how de processos: “Acreditamos que essa parceria nos trará os melhores sistemas da Europa para apoiar nossas metas de produzir papel de classe mundial”.
Já o CEO e diretor da companhia, Saad Ahmed Suman, destacou o caráter estratégico do investimento: “Este é um marco para a Papertech em nossa jornada rumo à liderança regional na produção sustentável e de alto desempenho”.

Valmet delivers its first automation systems to Papertech Industries in Bangladesh
Valmet has received its first order from Papertech Industries Co., Ltd. for a comprehensive automation package to improve production quality and operational efficiency at their production site in Bangladesh.
The order was included in Valmet’s orders received of the second quarter 2025 and the delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025. The value of the order will not be disclosed. The order marks a significant step for Papertech Industries as they invest in state-of-the-art automation technologies to elevate its production quality and operational efficiency.
The delivery will support the company in reducing quality variability, optimizing raw material usage, and enhancing operational ease through a secure and user-friendly automation environment. The delivery includes Bangladesh’s first DCS with a modern Valmet DNAe User Interface, providing intuitive workflows that simplify operations and enable users to manage larger process areas with less effort.
